Decorating For The Holidays

All the lights are up now and the final touches have been added to the Christmas Tree. But, hold up there, what about other areas of the home? Decorating the home does not have to be a tiresome job. Instead, you can make it a fun thing to do while getting everyone to help.

Simple Christmas Table Setting

To recreate this tables cape, begin with a white linen tablecloth. Add some fresh greenery from the yard or the market, along with twinkle lights and candlesticks to the centerpiece. Handmade wooden plate chargers are the foundation for each place setting. Layer with a red and white striped napkin (or a dish towel), white snowflake plates and a red napkin. Complete the look by tying a simple knot to the napkin, with a bell and Merry & Bright tags. Get the tutorial at the provided link. (via Hallstrom Home) ( credit to OneKinddesign)

Decorating with red and a hint of green is most times an easy way out for the holiday. Fresh wreaths decorated with red ribbons will give an elegant look.

Living Room by The Fireplace

Another simple yet elegant country house design for the holidays. Don't forget to hang a stocking for the dog as he is a member of the family. The wood tones and soft white gives this room a warm feeling, no wonder the dog is asleep. White lights on the tree give the room sufficient lighting for that coziness. Again, a plain wreath does wonders for a room. This room is simple yet warm and cozy.

Red Holiday Bedroom

Here we have another display of red to make this bedroom very cozy for the holiday. Simple designs goes a far way and are most times inexpensive. The Tan Christmas stockings hanging by the window shutters coordinates well with the décor colors. Again, a naked wreath speaks volume to the room. Cozy, warm and looks very relaxing.

How To Get The Bathroom In The Holiday Spirit

Do you decorate the bathroom? Well it's a room in the house and we use this room everyday. So, it would be nice to get the bathroom in the holiday spirit. It does not have to be fully decorated as is the living room. However, a simple wreath again with a few deer on the window sill is perfect. Keep it simple. Now the bathroom is in the spirit.

Enjoy the holiday and keep an eye out for more beautiful home decors.
